Alpha 18 is done!

It was probably the most challenging phase we've have accomplished so far, and the lengthiest indeed. By now, it should be no surprise to those who followed me ever since I've started talking about this journey that we're not usually only tackling technical difficulties during different stages of this project. Every single phase, we have to overcome some barriers that were put in place initially by the state of the current world (leaders, politicians, etc.) against startup companies like us. Tackling different sorts of obstacles may sound normal in our eco-system, but trust me, it's way beyond ordinary when you were born in certain geographical places on the map. These inequalities and problems suck up a substantial portion of our enthusiasm, energy, and time as always. I'm not going to…

Alpha 17 is done!

We're getting really close to what we dreamed 3 years ago… although the world isn't the same. Politics among world leaders kill creativity and enthusiasm of our generation. Continually adapting to the new regulations consumes most of our energies that certainly could channel better. Anyway, I've got too much on my plate these days… a lot to handle, take care, and a whole lot more to manage. I know it's also gonna get more complicated as we approach our beta testings and of course the project launch day. I really do hope that I can find some extra energy someday, to put into writing what I've been through along this journey. Probably I'm just waiting for a tangible public outcome to start telling you how stressful and at the same…

Alpha 14 is done!

We're on fire! It's been again less than a week since completing the last phase (alpha 13), and we're already done with Alpha 14! We decided not to rest for the full 5 days as we had planned, took 3 instead and there we go! That's how things sometimes turn out. 4 days, awesome! Partially because some tasks were simpler to mimic in Android, and of course again some credits go to our proper system architecture and its well-organized codebase. So this is where we are now: Next stop would be the most complicated and lengthier android phase we're probably ever going to have ( at least on paper ) let's hope we get it done without much struggle or delay. Till next one! Cheers 🍻

Alpha 13 is done!

I'm not going to start this post by talking about the project. On the contrary, I want to tell you about the lunch I had with one of my friends last week who is not working in the tech industry. We had not seen each other for years. We were chatting, asking questions, what we'd been doing all these years, personally, professionally, and subsequently, it gets to what we're doing now. The moment I started talking about this project, she said: "yes I guess I read about your project in your blog, Alpha? Right?" At that moment, in my head, I was like "Oh shit, another one who doesn't have any clue what I'm doing" So I corrected her that we haven't revealed the name yet, and Alpha is a…

Android, beyond my expectation, great job!

First of all, I've gotta say that I'm writing all these down just to document the journey I'm in. Some people decide to film it, some rather tweet about it, some Instagram it. I guess I like words and blogging much more. It's such a great medium. Always fascinates me how simply writing about something can be so therapeutic, sometimes giving us such invaluable insights about ourselves and the direction we're heading towards in life. Here are some updates of what I've been through last week: The Project Last week we didn't start Alpha 13 and we jumped into Alpha 19 and did about 40% of it. Sometimes it's essential for us to do some tasks of other phases before getting back to the main track. Well, in the ideal…

Alpha 12 is done!

Here we go... We just wrapped up alpha 12! In less than a week! That's a good sign. It indicates we've established a well-organized code base that can be easily translated across different platforms or I'd better say I'd like to think this way. I'm really happy that we decided to do the android before releasing anything. It's given us a chance to review our codes one more time and rectify some embarrassing bugs. Yet, I'm absolutely positive that we're gonna notice a lot more once we launched it. That's how it works, for everyone, and we're not an exception. After all: if you are not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you've launched too lateReid Hoffman Still, we try our best. It's been also two weeks in a…

Alpha 11 is done!

Alright, first of all I know it comes as a surprise ( probably an unpleasant one ) to ones who follow the flow of the project I'm working on... it's kind of to me as well, but that's how things are better to go on. After all, there is always a piece of great news and ...a "but". Ok let me elaborate a little: The great news is that our iOS application is finally ready as a beta. It means it can be tested by actual end-users; people who were not involved in any way in the process of development. The "but" part is that we decided not to proceed it further or release it until our Android version is ready as well. The reason is kind of obvious and…
