Quick Update On Testing Preparation

We have been working on Beta 5 for about a couple of weeks now. I decided to update you on our progress and discuss a change that we’ve made to the timeline. As I stated before, we’re going to perform the first beta test at the end of this phase with a set of privately selected volunteers. They will be external end-users without any prior exposure to the idea or the system.

Testing Procedure Refinement

As we were doing final internal tests, we noticed a significant improvement opportunity in the testing procedure. We thought it would be much better if we incorporated a couple of provisions before the beta test.

These provisions go a long way to make everything easier for both testers and us during the beta trials that we probably are going to have regularly after phase 5.

Refinement Price

Well, these provisions don’t come cheap. We have to implement a couple of semi-feature scale functionalities in both the iOS and Android apps. Of course, they have to be supported by the backend system as well. So, there would be coding on that side as well.

By the way, I always try my best to describe the situation in the simplest form I can think of. But, I can see how it may not make sense to non-tech people.

Extended Beta 5 As Justified Price

Anyway, the point is we think these provisions will be well worth the additional time they are going to introduce to this phase. Therefore, we extend Beta 5 for another three weeks to incorporate these provisions.

In short, Beta 5 is going to be an almost 6-week phase, and we’ll keep our fingers crossed! Right now, we are at the beginning of the third week. So we have nearly a month of hard work ahead of us!

Maybe less maybe more, as Eleanor Roosevelt once said:

If life were predictable, it would cease to be life, and be without flavor.

Till the next update, stay safe!
Cheers
